Just wanted to put this out there to see if there is any interest?
I'd like to know if any other drivers from out of town would be interested in renting a house together and possibly a rental van to get to and from track and store. Split between 2-3 teams, if we find a big enough house it would be way cheeper than motel.
I'm from Oregon and I'm sure there will be a hand full of guy's from Sykart. Were not to bad of a bunch to hang out with..........I think....lol |

Hey Steve, I went out and got my guys a shuttle bus, so we can all travel to KC and Phoenix together. Anyways, it's pretty nice, and seats 24, if you guys need a ride back in forth to the house and such it would be no problem. _________________ "The fans knew that when I came to the British Grand Prix, I was prepared to kill myself for them" - Nigel Mansell

I will start looking for the biggest house (most BR's) closest to the track. Has anyone done this beside us last year, if so let me know the rental info. please.
Well Chad I hope to see you and your team down at F1 for sure, make sure that bus is in good shape for that trip, I don't wanna here any broken down stories. We will most likley rent a big van to tote everyone around. Thanks though.
Second question would be time frame for evreyone, I want to be there for 1/2 mile monday, I can't miss that! Start the rental that night? Ideas? |

Chad has the party on wheels! That sounds like trouble! And Adam from your first post, you the man! Way to take care of a brother! Damn I just got over craving the 24hr race now I have to wait 5 months until the USIKC. I'm dying here! When I return from Alabama this summer I may have to drive out to Oregon for a weekend and mix it up with you guys! |

I will have a 5 seater car there as its only a few hour drive so there is no point in flying, can take probably 2 other drivers as my GF is likely to be with me. (her car also haha)
as for arrival it all depends on work, I cant go if i cant find work, but if I have work I will only have been working at said location for a few months thus a week off is unlikely.
oh damn catch 22's. _________________ -Out To Show The World-

Hey Pat could you make a trip through Salt Lake City and grab me also! That would be appreciated! It would save me a lot of cash! |

depending on what kind of job it is, most employers are understanding of plans made prior to your employment with them. just tell em you've had this planned/paid for for a while and hopefully they'll be cool with it.
if it turns into a deal breaker then you can scrap it, but it's much easier to tell them up front than ask for the time off after you've been hired. |

| Even though Ive been AWOL for a couple months now, I'm still in! Last year was too much fun.. I do remember there being a HUGE mansion on the rental market for $2000 a week, it had like 6 bedrooms and PLENTY of extra sleeping space.. if we can get 10-12 guys in there it should become pretty reasonable |
